From downtown Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station. Board a Metro train on the Red Line heading towards Glenmont. Travel for 6 stops and get off at the Wiehle-Reston East station. Exit the station and walk to the bus stop for the 505 bus towards Chantilly. Board the bus and get off at the stop for Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, which is located right in front of the museum.

From your location in Silver Spring, make your way to the Silver Spring Metro Station. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont and travel to the Rosslyn station. From Rosslyn, transfer to the Silver Line train towards Ashburn and ride it to the Wiehle-Reston East station. Upon exiting, look for the shuttle service that operates to the Udvar-Hazy Center.
