After about 0.2 miles, turn left onto High Street and continue for another 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Potomac Street. Turn right onto Potomac Street and follow it for about 0.3 miles until you reach the footbridge. Cross the footbridge over the Potomac River, and once you reach the Virginia side, continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the Potomac-Heritage Trail on your left at 101 Seneca Rd.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    From the Harper's Ferry Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of High Street and Potomac Street. Take the Loudoun County Connector bus (Route 62) towards the Reston Town Center. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the Great Falls stop. Walk 10 minutes down Seneca Road, and you'll find the entrance to the Potomac-Heritage Trail at 101 Seneca Rd.

    If you have rented a bicycle from one of the local shops in Harper's Ferry, start from the Visitor Center and head north on Shenandoah Street.
