Getting There

• Bus

  From Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs, take the VTA (Vineyard Transit Authority) bus on the 'Aquinnah' route. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, especially during off-peak seasons. The bus will take you directly to Aquinnah. Get off at the Aquinnah Circle stop, which is the closest stop to the Aquinnah Cliffs Overlook.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in either Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. Follow the bike paths toward the West, heading towards Aquinnah. The ride is approximately 10 miles from Oak Bluffs and 12 miles from Vineyard Haven. You will travel along State Road, which leads to the scenic vistas of the cliffs. Once you reach Aquinnah, lock your bike near the Aquinnah Circle, and walk to the overlook located at 31 Aquinnah Cir.

• Walking

  If you're staying nearby in Aquinnah, walking is a beautiful way to reach the cliffs. Follow the local paths that connect to Aquinnah Circle. From the center of Aquinnah, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the overlook. Look for signage directing you to the scenic spots as you approach the cliffs.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, consider using a local taxi service or ridesharing app. Simply provide the driver with the address '31 Aquinnah Cir, Aquinnah, MA 02535'. This is a convenient option if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to navigate public transport.
