From downtown Boston, take I-93 N from Washington St. Follow I-93 N and I-95 N to MA-1A N in Lynnfield. Take exit 42A from I-95 N. Continue on MA-1A N. Drive for about 6 miles, then turn left onto Central St. Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site will be on your right at 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
From downtown Boston, take the MBTA Orange Line train from North Station towards Oak Grove. Get off at the Malden Center stop. From there, transfer to the 132 bus heading towards Saugus. Get off the bus at the stop closest to Central St and walk about a quarter of a mile to 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906. This route may take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on wait times. A CharlieCard or CharlieTicket will be needed for fare payment.
