    From any location in Hampshire County, head towards Interstate 91 (I-91) South. If you're starting from Northampton, take Route 5 South until you reach I-91. Merge onto I-91 South and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 15 toward Holyoke and merge onto Route 141. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Appleton Street. Holyoke Heritage State Park will be on your left at 221 Appleton St, Holyoke, MA 01040. Parking is available on-site.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    If you're using public transportation, check the PVTA (Pioneer Valley Transit Authority) bus schedules. From Northampton, take the PVTA Route 39 bus towards Holyoke. The bus will take you directly to Holyoke. Once you arrive in Holyoke, you can either walk or take another local bus to the park. Holyoke Heritage State Park is about 0.5 miles from the bus stop; simply walk south on Appleton Street, and you will reach the park.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    If you are near a train station, you can take an Amtrak train to Springfield. From Springfield, transfer to the PVTA bus service (Route 1) towards Holyoke.
