From Hyannis, head to the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd. Take the Peter Pan Bus Lines service towards Woods Hole. The bus will stop at several locations, including the ferry terminal. At Woods Hole, transfer to the ferry service to Martha's Vineyard. Once you arrive at the Vineyard, take the VTA bus service towards Edgartown. Get off at the Edgartown stop and walk to 89 Main St, where the Old Whaling Church is located.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Hyannis. Start at the Hyannis Village Green and head towards Main St. Continue on Main St until you reach the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which will lead you towards the ferry terminal in Barnstable.
