Getting There

• Bus

  From the Vineyard Haven bus terminal, board the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority (VTA) bus route 1 or route 3. These buses travel towards the West Tisbury area. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at Head of the Pond Road. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you get off at Head of the Pond Road, walk about 0.3 miles along the road until you reach Island Alpaca Company, located at 1 Head of the Pond Rd, Vineyard Haven, MA 02568.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Vineyard Haven. From the center of Vineyard Haven, head north on Main Street, then take a left onto Beach Road. Continue on Beach Road and then turn right onto Head of the Pond Road. Follow Head of the Pond Road for about 1 mile, and you will find Island Alpaca Company on your left at 1 Head of the Pond Rd.

  If you are staying in Vineyard Haven, you can easily walk to Island Alpaca Company. Start on Main Street and head towards the harbor. Continue onto Beach Road, and then turn right onto Head of the Pond Road. Walk along Head of the Pond Road for about 1 mile, and you will see Island Alpaca Company on your left at 1 Head of the Pond Rd.
