Walking
From the center of Lowell, head south on Merrimack Street toward Dutton Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn left onto Dutton Street and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the train station. Take the Lowell Line commuter rail toward Boston. Once you arrive at North Station in Boston, transfer to the Orange Line subway heading toward Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station, and transfer to the Green Line toward Braintree. Get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, take the Red Line toward Alewife and get off at Alewife Station. Finally, transfer to the Alewife-bound route and get off at Alewife. Walk about 10 minutes to Massachusetts Hall at Harvard University, located at 42.3744368 latitude and -71.1182488 longitude.
Bus
Start at the Lowell City Hall and take the LRTA bus number 1 towards the Merrimack Valley. Get off at the stop at the Lowell Train Station. From there, board the MBTA commuter rail towards North Station in Boston. At North Station, transfer to the Orange Line subway, taking it toward Haymarket. Once at Haymarket, switch to the Green Line and get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, switch to the Red Line bound for Alewife. After reaching Alewife Station, walk about 10 minutes to Massachusetts Hall, Harvard University.
