Public Bus
If you are starting from Oak Bluffs, take the VTA (Vineyard Transit Authority) bus Line 1 towards Vineyard Haven. The bus stop is located near the Oak Bluffs ferry terminal. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Vineyard Haven - Main St. at Water St.' stop. From there, transfer to Line 3 towards West Tisbury and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach 'Head of the Pond Rd.' Get off the bus, and the Island Alpaca Company will be a short walk down Head of the Pond Rd.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Vineyard Haven. Once you have your bike, head north on Main St. and turn left onto Beach Rd.
