Car
From the center of Mohawk Trail State Forest, head south on Route 2 (Mohawk Trail) towards Shelburne Falls. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 112. Turn right onto Route 112 South and continue for about 2 miles. Look for signs for High Ledges Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary entrance will be on your left. There is no entrance fee, but parking is available.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus station. From Mohawk Trail State Forest, take a local taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus stop in Shelburne Falls. From there, check the schedule for the Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) bus that travels towards Greenfield. You will need to get off at the stop nearest to Route 112. After disembarking, the sanctuary is about a 30-minute walk along Route 112 South. Be mindful of traffic and road conditions.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, start at the main entrance of Mohawk Trail State Forest and take Route 2 East towards Shelburne Falls. After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto Route 112 South. The sanctuary will be about 2 miles down Route 112 on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all road safety measures. This can be a scenic ride but be prepared for some elevation changes.
