From Newburyport, head south on High Street (Route 1A) towards Newbury. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 south and follow the signs for Newbury and the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. After approximately 1.5 miles, take a left onto Refuge Road. The gatehouse will be about half a mile down Refuge Road on your right. There is no entrance fee for the refuge.
