For those using public transportation, you can take the PVTA (Pioneer Valley Transit Authority) bus service. Routes 21 and 22 from various locations in Pioneer Valley will take you to Holyoke. You can board the bus at designated stops and ask the driver for the closest stop to Holyoke Heritage State Park. The closest stop is Appleton Street. The fare is typically around $1.50, and exact change is required.

If you are already in downtown Holyoke, you can reach Holyoke Heritage State Park on foot. The park is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the downtown area. Start at Main Street and head east towards Appleton Street. Follow Appleton Street, and you will find the park entrance on your left.
