Walking
If you are in the center of Provincetown, start at the intersection of Commercial Street and Bradford Street. Head west on Bradford Street until you reach the end where it meets Route 6. This will take you approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you reach Route 6, turn left, and follow the road for about 1 mile. You will see signs for Herring Cove Beach. Continue on Province Lands Road, and you will soon arrive at the beach entrance on your right.

For those with bikes, start from the center of Provincetown and head west on Commercial Street. When you reach Bradford Street, turn left and continue until you reach Route 6. Turn left onto Route 6, and then take a right onto Province Lands Road after approximately 1 mile. Continue straight on Province Lands Road for about half a mile, and you will find Herring Cove Beach on your right.

From the center of Provincetown, you can take the local shuttle bus service. Look for the shuttle stop on Commercial Street. Board the shuttle that is heading towards the National Seashore, and make sure to inform the driver you are going to Herring Cove Beach. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes, and the driver will drop you off close to the beach entrance.
