Car
If you're driving from South Shore, take Route 3 North towards Boston. Continue on Route 3 until you reach Route 93 North. Merge onto I-93 N and follow signs for US-1 N. Take the exit for Saugus (Exit 43). At the traffic light, turn right onto Central St. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles, and the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site will be on your right at 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
To reach Saugus Iron Works by public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from South Shore to the Malden Station. From Malden, transfer to the 104 bus toward Saugus. Get off at the stop closest to Central Street, and from there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the historic site at 244 Central St, Saugus, MA 01906.
