From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the MBTA bus #70 or #70A towards Alewife Station. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach Alewife Station. From Alewife, transfer to the Alewife subway line (Red Line) towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at the next stop, which is Alewife Station. From Alewife, take the subway to the Harvard Square station. Once you exit the station, walk towards Brattle Street. Turn right on Brattle Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Divinity Avenue. The Peabody Museum will be on your left at 11 Divinity Ave.

If you are staying in Waltham's downtown, you can walk to the 70 bus stop located at Main Street. Once there, board the #70 or #70A bus towards Alewife Station. After about 30 minutes of bus travel, get off at Alewife Station. From the station, walk to the Alewife subway stop and take the Red Line towards Ashmont. Get off at Harvard Square. After exiting the subway, head towards Brattle Street, turn right, and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you see the Peabody Museum on your left at 11 Divinity Ave.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike shop in Waltham. Start by heading north on Main Street, and then merge onto the Minuteman Bikeway. Follow the bikeway until you reach Alewife Station. From there, continue towards Fresh Pond Parkway, and take a right onto Fresh Pond Parkway. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Brattle Street. Turn left onto Brattle Street and keep riding until you reach Divinity Avenue, where the Peabody Museum is located.
