Getting There

• Bicycle

  If you are in the center of Cozumel, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around the waterfront. Head south along Avenida Rafael E. Melgar towards the ferry terminal and continue until you reach the junction with Calle 1 Sur. Turn left onto Calle 1 Sur and follow the signs leading to the Route of the Cenotes. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Km 12.5 on the Ruta de los Cenotes, look for the entrance to Cenote las Mojarras on your right.

• Public Bus

  From downtown Cozumel, walk to the main bus terminal located on Avenida 5 between Calles 3 and 5. Look for buses heading to Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morelos. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Ruta de los Cenotes'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you get off, walk back along the road to find Cenote las Mojarras at Km 12.5, which will be on your left.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi in downtown Cozumel, particularly around the main square or along the waterfront. Ask the driver to take you to Cenote las Mojarras, located at Km 12.5 on the Ruta de los Cenotes in Puerto Morelos. The taxi ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
