Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Xilitla. Head east on Avenida Juárez towards Calle Francisco I. Madero. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right fork onto Calle 20 de Noviembre. After another 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto the unpaved road (signs might be limited) leading to Cascade Comales. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers, and you will arrive at Cascade Comales. Ensure you have a reliable map or GPS, as some signs may be hard to find.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take a local bus from the main bus terminal in Xilitla heading towards Sta. Monica. The fare should be around 20 MXN. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Cascade Comales. After disembarking, walk down the path leading towards the waterfall, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to confirm the departure times, as they can vary throughout the day.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Xilitla. Taxis are available throughout the town, and the fare to Cascade Comales should be around 100-150 MXN, depending on your negotiation skills and time of day. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Cascade Comales, where you can then enjoy a short walk to the waterfall.
