Walking
If you are in the historic center of Oaxaca, start at the Zócalo (main square). Head east on Calle de Independencia until you reach the intersection with Avenida Juárez. Turn left and walk north until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Carr. Internacional. From there, you will see the Auditorio Guelaguetza ahead on your right. It's approximately a 30-minute walk.
Public Bus
From the Zócalo, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Juárez. Look for buses heading towards 'Auditorio Guelaguetza' or 'Carr. Internacional'. The buses are usually marked with their destinations. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the auditorium. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when to get off.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. From the Zócalo, head east on Calle de Independencia, then take Avenida Juárez north. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Carr. Internacional. The Auditorio Guelaguetza will be on your right. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Taxi
You can hail a taxi from anywhere in the city. Just tell the driver 'Auditorio Guelaguetza' or show them the address: 'Carr. Internacional, Area sin Asignacion de Nombre de Colonia, 68070 Oaxaca de Juárez'. The drive should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
