Bus
From the center of Oaxaca, head to the 'Estación de Autobuses' bus terminal. Look for the buses heading towards Santa María Atzompa. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Santa María Atzompa, ask the driver to drop you off near 'Cerro de La Campaña'. From there, follow the signs to the Zona Arqueológica de Atzompa, which is about a 10-15 minute walk uphill.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Oaxaca. Ask the driver to take you to 'Cerro de La Campaña, Santa María Atzompa'. The ride should take around 20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and are staying in the nearby areas, you can walk to Cerro de La Campaña. Start from the Zócalo (the main square in Oaxaca), head north on Calle de Morelos, and continue until you reach the intersection with Avenida 5 de Febrero. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the outskirts of Santa María Atzompa. The archaeological site will be on your right. This walk is approximately 4 km and may take around an hour.
