Getting There

  • Collectivo

    From Playa del Carmen, head to the main bus station located on 5th Avenue and 12th Street. Look for the collectivo stand, which has shared vans heading towards Tulum. You can recognize them by their white color with a green stripe. Get on the collectivo and tell the driver you want to go to Cenote Cristalino. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The collectivo will drop you off at the entrance of the cenote.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Playa del Carmen. Simply hail a taxi from the street or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Provide the driver with the address: Carr. Cancún - Tulum Km. 269, 77734 Cancún, Q.R. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic, and it is advisable to confirm the fare before starting your trip.

  • Bicycle

    For the adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Playa del Carmen. Head south on the bike path along the beach towards Tulum. When you reach the highway (Carr. Cancún - Tulum), turn left and continue until you reach Cenote Cristalino, which will be on your right side. The ride is roughly 7 miles and can take about 40-50 minutes depending on your speed.
