Walking
If you are staying in central Playa del Carmen, start by heading towards the beach on 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida). Walk south along 5th Avenue until you reach the intersection with 10th Street. Turn left on 10th Street and continue walking until you reach the entrance of the Playacar area. Continue straight as the road turns into 5 Av. Nte. After a short walk, you will see the entrance to the Playa del Carmen Archeological Site on your left. The site is located at 5 Av. Nte. 10, Playacar, 77717 Playa del Carmen, Q.R.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Start at the 5th Avenue and head south towards Playacar. Follow the same route as walking: ride down 5th Avenue until you reach 10th Street, then turn left. Continue straight to the Playacar entrance, riding along 5 Av. Nte. The site entrance will be on your left. Make sure to lock your bicycle at the designated areas!
