Collectivo
From anywhere in Playa del Carmen, head to Calle 2 Norte, which is where the collectivos (shared vans) are located. Look for the collectivos that are heading towards Puerto Morelos. The fare is approximately 40-50 MXN. Once you board, let the driver know you want to get off at 'Km 17 Ruta de los Cenotes'. The ride will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at 'Km 17', look for signs for Cenote La Cueva del Jaguar, which is a short walk from the drop-off point.

Taxi
You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Playa del Carmen directly to Cenote La Cueva del Jaguar. Simply hail a taxi or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Make sure to confirm the price before you get in; it should be around 300-400 MXN for a one-way trip. The journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the cenote.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle and ride to Cenote La Cueva del Jaguar. Start by heading south on Avenida 5, then take a left on Avenida 10 and continue until you reach the main highway (Carretera Federal 307). Turn right and follow the road towards Puerto Morelos. Keep an eye out for 'Km 17 Ruta de los Cenotes' signs. The distance is about 17 km and will take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you have water and sun protection, as it can get hot.
