Getting There

Collectivo
From the center of Playa del Carmen, head to the collectivo station located on Calle 2 between Avenida 15 and Avenida 20. Look for a van that is heading towards Tulum or Xpu Há. Once you find a collectivo that fits your destination, hop on and pay the driver (usually around 40-50 pesos). The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop near the entrance for Cenote Sagrado Maya, which is in Xpu Há, approximately 3 kilometers from the main road.

Public Bus
Head to the ADO bus station located on Avenida 5 between Calle 12 and Calle 14. Look for the bus line that goes to Tulum and ask the attendant for a ticket to Xpu Há. The bus will take about 30-40 minutes to reach Xpu Há. Once you arrive, exit the bus and walk towards the cenote, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs to Cenote Sagrado Maya.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Playa del Carmen. Head south on Avenida 5 and then turn right onto the bike path towards Xpu Há.
