If you are in Playacar, start by heading towards the main entrance of the Playacar residential area. Walk along the main road until you reach the intersection with 5 Av. Nte. Continue walking straight on 5 Av. Nte until you see the signs for the Playa del Carmen Archeological Site. The site is located at 5 Av. Nte. 10, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from most places in Playacar.

Follow the same route as walking by heading towards the main entrance of Playacar, then cycling along the main road to 5 Av. Nte. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. While a collectivo is not the most direct option from Playacar, it can be used if you're near the main roads. Head to the nearest collectivo stand, typically found at the edge of Playacar. Once on board, request to be dropped off at the nearest point to 5 Av. Nte. This may involve a short walk from where you are dropped off. The cost for a collectivo ride is around 30 pesos.
