Walking
From Punta Esmeralda, start by heading south towards Avenida 5. Continue walking until you reach Avenida 5, which is one of the main streets in Playa del Carmen. Once you are at Avenida 5, turn right (south) and follow the avenue until you reach Calle 10. After about a 10-15 minute walk, you will see Calle 10 on your left.

Turn left onto Calle 10 and continue walking east until you reach the beach. This should take about 5 minutes. Once you reach the beach, you will see the Playa del Carmen Lighthouse straight ahead. It's located near the shoreline at Gonzalo Guerrero, 77710 Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo.

Public Transport (Collectivo)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a 'collectivo' from Punta Esmeralda. Head to the nearest main road and look for a collectivo heading south towards Playa del Carmen. The fare is usually around 30-40 pesos. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Avenida 5 and Calle 10.

You can also opt for a taxi. You can hail a taxi from Punta Esmeralda or request one through a mobile app. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes, and the fare will typically be around 50-70 pesos. Ask the driver to take you to the Playa del Carmen Lighthouse near Gonzalo Guerrero.
