Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Playa del Carmen, take the Carretera 307 towards Tulum and follow the signs to Cozumel. Once you reach the ferry terminal in Playa del Carmen, park your car in the designated parking area (note: parking fees apply). Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Cozumel. The ferry ride takes about 45 minutes. Upon arriving in Cozumel, follow signs to Carretera Costera Sur. Continue on this road for approximately 10 km until you reach Carr. Costera Sur Km. 9.5. Dolphin Discovery will be on your right, located within Parque Nacional Chankanaab.

• Public Transportation

  From any location in Riviera Maya, take a bus or colectivo (shared van) to Playa del Carmen. The ADO bus terminal is located in the center of Playa del Carmen. From there, head to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Cozumel. After arriving in Cozumel, you can take a taxi or rent a bike to get to Dolphin Discovery. If you take a taxi, simply tell the driver to take you to Carr. Costera Sur Km. 9.5; the ride will take about 15-20 minutes and should cost around $10-15 USD.

• Taxi

  Once you arrive in Cozumel via ferry, you can take a taxi directly to Dolphin Discovery. The taxi stand is located right outside the ferry terminal. Provide the driver with the address: Carr. Costera Sur Km. 9.5, Parque Nacional Chankanaab. The fare should be approximately $15-20 USD, and the ride will take around 15 minutes.
