From any location in Riviera Maya, head towards Puerto Morelos. If you're starting from Playa del Carmen, take the highway 307 north for about 30 minutes until you reach Puerto Morelos. Look for the signs directing you to the town. Once in Puerto Morelos, follow Rafael E. Melgar Avenue until you see the entrance to the National Reef Park on your left. There may be parking available nearby, but be prepared for a small fee (around $50 MXN).

You can take an ADO bus or a colectivo (shared van) from Playa del Carmen or Cancun directly to Puerto Morelos. If departing from Playa del Carmen, catch the ADO bus from the main bus terminal or a colectivo from designated pickup spots. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Puerto Morelos, walk along Rafael E. Melgar Avenue towards the park entrance, which should take around 10-15 minutes. Public transport costs approximately $50-80 MXN depending on your starting point.
