Travel Guide to Xplor Park

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Carretera 307 (the main highway running through the Riviera Maya). Depending on your starting point, follow the signs for Playa del Carmen. Once you approach Playa del Carmen, look for the signs indicating Xplor Park, which is located on Carretera Chetumal, Puerto Juarez Km 282. The park is situated about 10 minutes from Playa del Carmen center. Make sure to pay attention to the speed limits and traffic signs along the way.

• Public Transportation - ADO Bus

  If you're using public transportation, take an ADO bus from your location to Playa del Carmen. The ADO buses are comfortable and have regular schedules. Once you arrive at the ADO bus terminal in Playa del Carmen, you can take a taxi to Xplor Park. The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Public Transportation - Colectivo

  An alternative public transport option is to take a colectivo (shared van). From your location, find a colectivo heading towards Playa del Carmen. Once you arrive in Playa del Carmen, you can catch another colectivo heading towards Xplor Park or take a taxi. The colectivo fare is generally less expensive than a taxi, but you may need to wait for the van to fill up before it departs.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a direct route, consider taking a taxi from your hotel or current location in Riviera Maya directly to Xplor Park. Be sure to negotiate the fare or ask the driver to use the meter. The taxi ride will typically take around 10-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
