If you are starting from the main square, Plaza Borda, head south on Calle de la Misión. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Vicente Guerrero. Turn right onto Calle Vicente Guerrero and continue straight. You will pass by several shops and local eateries. Keep an eye out for signs directing you toward the Mina Prehispánica de Taxco. As you walk, you will notice the streets becoming more narrow and winding. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Cerro, De La Misión #32, where the museum is located.

From the Plaza Borda, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Calle de la Misión. Look for a bus heading towards 'Cerro de la Misión'. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Mina Prehispánica de Taxco. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once the bus stops, you will need to walk a short distance to Cerro, De La Misión #32, where the museum is located.
