Once you arrive at the San Ysidro border crossing, cross into the United States. After passing through customs, head to the San Ysidro Transit Center, where you can catch a bus to downtown San Diego. Look for bus number 992 or 24, which will take you to the downtown area. Get off at the 'Broadway & 1st' stop. From there, transfer to the MTS Bus number 35 heading towards Point Loma. Get off at 'Lands End Road' stop, which is close to the Point Loma Ecological Reserve.

    If you're starting from the Tijuana Cultural Center (CEART), walk to the nearest bus stop and take a local bus towards the San Ysidro border. Once you cross the border into the U.S., take bus number 992 or 24 from San Ysidro Transit Center to downtown San Diego.
