Public Transportation
From the center of Tijuana, head to the Tijuana bus terminal located on Avenida Primera. Look for the bus that goes to San Diego. Ensure you have your documents ready for border crossing. Once you cross the border into the U.S., you will arrive at the San Ysidro transit center. From there, take the San Diego Trolley (Blue Line) towards 'Downtown San Diego'. Get off at the 'America Plaza' station. After exiting the trolley, follow the signs directing you to the 'Santa Fe Depot'. From there, take the Coaster train towards 'Oceanside' and get off at 'Old Town' station. Finally, transfer to bus number 35 towards 'Point Loma' and get off at 'Shelter Island' stop.
