Public Transportation
From Tijuana, head to the Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) using a taxi or rideshare. Once at the airport, take a flight to San Diego International Airport (SAN). Upon arrival at SAN, proceed to the airport's ground transportation area. You can take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus Route 992, which runs directly from the airport to downtown San Diego. After arriving downtown, transfer to the MTS Trolley at the Santa Fe Depot Station, taking the Blue Line towards the 'America Plaza' station. At the 'America Plaza' station, transfer to the Green Line towards 'Santee' and get off at the 'Mission Beach' station. From there, it's a short walk to South Mission Beach.
