Getting There

Bicycle
If you are in the center of Tulum, rent a bicycle from one of the many shops. Start by heading north on Avenida Tulum. Continue until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cobá. Turn right onto Avenida Cobá and follow the road until you reach the junction with the main highway (Carretera Tulum-Cobá). At the junction, turn left onto the highway. After about 4 km, you will see a sign for Cenote el Sueño on your right. Follow the road to the entrance of the cenote.

Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From any location in Tulum, make your way to Avenida Tulum where you will find the colectivo station. Look for a colectivo heading towards Cobá. Board the colectivo, and inform the driver that you want to stop at Cenote el Sueño. It is about a 15-minute ride. When you reach the cenote, the driver will drop you off at the entrance.

If you are feeling adventurous and have the time, you can walk to Cenote el Sueño. Start from the center of Tulum and head east on Avenida Tulum until you reach Avenida Cobá. Once you reach the highway, look for the sign for Cenote el Sueño on your right and follow the path to the entrance.
