• Car

  If you are traveling by car, take the main highway routes leading into Cancún. From Mérida, take the 180D highway towards Cancún. Once you reach Cancún, follow the signs for Zona Hotelera. Drive along Blvd. Kukulcan until you reach km 16.5, where the Museo Maya de Cancún y Zona Arqueológica de San Miguelito is located. There is parking available nearby. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from 50 to 100 pesos, depending on the duration of your stay.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For public transportation, you can catch a bus from various locations in the Yucatán Peninsula to Cancún. From the ADO bus terminal in Mérida, take a direct ADO bus to Cancún. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once in Cancún, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Museo Maya. Local buses (R1 or R2) that run along Blvd. Kukulcan will take you directly to the museum area for about 12 pesos. Make sure to have small change ready.
