To reach the University of Michigan at 500 S State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109 using public transportation, you can take the AATA (Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority) bus. If you are near downtown Ann Arbor, find the nearest bus stop for the #4 bus (which travels along State Street). Board the bus and ride it until you reach the 'University of Michigan' stop. From there, it’s a short walk east to the entrance of the university. Make sure to check the AATA schedule for bus times.

If you are already in the downtown area of Ann Arbor, you can walk to the University of Michigan. Start at the intersection of Main St and Liberty St. Head south on Main St until you reach William St, then turn left (east) onto William St. Continue walking until you reach State St. Turn right (south) on State St, and you will arrive at the university entrance at 500 S State St in about 15-20 minutes.
