Getting There

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you're starting from downtown Detroit, find the nearest bus stop for the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) routes. Take the DDOT bus route #25 (Jefferson) heading towards the east. The bus will take you along Jefferson Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the stop near 588 E Jefferson Ave. From there, it's just a short walk to the Detroit Riverfront.

• Public Transportation - People Mover

  Board the Detroit People Mover at any downtown station. Ride the People Mover to the 'Greektown' station. From there, exit and head towards the riverfront. Walk east on Monroe Street, then south on St. Antoine Street until you reach East Jefferson Avenue. Turn left and continue walking until you arrive at the Detroit Riverfront at 588 E Jefferson Ave.

• Walking

  If you're already in downtown Detroit, you can walk to the Detroit Riverfront. Start at Hart Plaza, which is right by the river. Head east on Atwater Street, then turn left onto E Jefferson Ave. Continue walking along Jefferson Avenue for about 10-15 minutes, and you will reach the Detroit Riverfront at 588 E Jefferson Ave. The walk is scenic, with views of the river and the city skyline.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can ride to the Detroit Riverfront. From downtown, head towards the river and follow the bike lanes along the waterfront. There are designated bike paths that lead directly to the riverfront area. Look for signs directing you to the riverfront, and you'll find bike racks available for parking at 588 E Jefferson Ave.
