Walking
From the center of New Center, head east on West Grand Boulevard until you reach the intersection with the Lodge Freeway (M-10). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with East Jefferson Avenue. Turn left onto East Jefferson Avenue and walk north for about 1 mile. You will pass the Detroit Medical Center on your right. Keep walking until you reach Atwater Street. Turn right onto Atwater Street; the Outdoor Adventure Center will be on your left at 1801 Atwater St.

From New Center, walk to the nearest bus stop on West Grand Boulevard. Board the QLINE streetcar heading south towards Downtown. Get off at the Greektown stop, then transfer to the 25 Jefferson bus. Board the bus heading east and ride until you reach the stop at Atwater Street. The Outdoor Adventure Center is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at 1801 Atwater St.
