If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the M1 Rail. Locate the nearest M1 Rail station, which could be at either the Campus Martius Park or the Cadillac Center station. Board the rail heading southbound towards the Jefferson/Chene station. Disembark at the Cadillac Center station. From there, exit the station and walk two blocks north along Griswold Street. The Ford Building will be on your left at 615 Griswold St. Be sure to check the fare for the M1 Rail, which is typically around $1.50 for a single ride.
