If you are starting from downtown Lansing, head to the Capital Area Transit Authority (CATA) bus station at 124 E. Allegan St. Take Bus Route 4 towards 'Eastwood Towne Center.' Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the stop at 'Mason St. & Grand River Ave.' From there, transfer to Bus Route 29 towards 'Lansing Community College.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop at 'Grand Woods Park Dr.' Walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach the entrance of Grand Woods Park.

If you are in downtown Lansing, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services. Head north on Washington Ave, then turn left onto Saginaw St. Continue on Saginaw St until you reach the intersection with Grand River Ave. Turn right onto Grand River Ave and head west until you reach the intersection with Grand Woods Park Dr. Turn left onto Grand Woods Park Dr and follow it until you arrive at Grand Woods Park, which will be on your right.
