Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach E. Michigan Ave. Turn right onto E. Michigan Ave, and walk for about 0.2 miles. Once you reach N. Capitol Ave, turn left. The Town Of Michigan Historical Marker 1847 will be on your left at 100 N Capitol Ave, directly in front of the Michigan State Capitol building.

From the Lansing Capital Area Multimodal Gateway, take the CATA bus route 1 (Blue Line) heading towards the Eastside. Get off at the stop at N. Capitol Ave and E.
