    If you are starting from the Main Street area of Mackinac Island, head northeast on Main Street towards the Grand Hotel. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Lake Shore Drive. Turn left onto Lake Shore Drive. Walk along Lake Shore Drive for approximately 1.5 miles. The Mackinac Island State Park Visitors Center will be on your right at 7200 Lake Shore Drive. Look for the large sign indicating the Visitors Center.

    From the Main Street area, rent a bike from one of the nearby rental shops. Head north on Main Street and then take a left onto Lake Shore Drive. Continue biking along Lake Shore Drive. It's a scenic route, and you will enjoy views of the water and the surrounding natural beauty. After about 1.5 miles, the Mackinac Island State Park Visitors Center will be on your right. Keep an eye out for the Visitors Center sign as you approach.
