As you pass the Grand Hotel, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Cadotte Avenue. At the intersection, turn left onto Cadotte Avenue. Follow Cadotte Avenue until it merges into Fort Holmes Road. Continue on Fort Holmes Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Point Lookout. There will be signs along the way directing you to Point Lookout, and you will enjoy scenic views of the island along this route.

If you have rented a bicycle, start at the center of Mackinac Island near the ferry docks. Head east on Main Street, and then take a left onto Cadotte Avenue.
