Start your journey at the Traverse City Commons, a central location in Traverse City. Head north on E Front St towards the intersection with Garfield Ave. Continue on E Front St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Garfield Ave. Turn left onto Garfield Ave and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will pass through a residential area with several shops and eateries. After crossing the Boardman River, continue straight. As you approach the intersection with P9PJ+J9, you will see the Boardman Lake Bridge on your right. It's a beautiful spot to enjoy the scenic views of the lake and surrounding nature.

Begin your biking adventure at the Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation (TART) Trailhead located at 125 W 14th St. Follow the TART Trail heading north towards the Boardman Lake area. Continue on the trail for about 2 miles, enjoying the natural surroundings and scenic views. As you approach the bridge area, you'll see signs leading to the Boardman Lake Bridge. Make sure to stop and take in the picturesque views of the lake and wildlife!

While there is limited public transit in Traverse City, you can take the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) bus from the downtown area. Catch the Route 10 bus from the stop at the Traverse City Governmental Center (400 Boardman Ave). Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Garfield Ave and P9PJ+J9. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Boardman Lake Bridge. Walk north along Garfield Ave, and you’ll find the bridge at the end of P9PJ+J9.
