From Traverse City, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Traverse City Downtown area. Look for the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) bus service. Board the bus heading towards Frankfort. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach the Frankfort bus stop, exit the bus and walk west on Main Street until you reach River Road. Turn left onto River Road and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at 4907 River Rd, Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm and Boutique.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown Traverse City. Head west on E Front St until you reach M-22. Turn left and continue to follow M-22 for about 18 miles towards Frankfort. After approximately 18 miles, turn right onto River Road. The Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm and Boutique will be on your left at 4907 River Rd.
