Starting from the Visitor Center at Sleeping Bear Dunes, head west on M-72. Continue on M-72 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection of M-22. Turn left onto M-22 and drive south for about 5 miles. Look for the signs for Platte Plains Trailhead on your right. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to the trailhead parking area. The address is Trail End, Honor, MI 49640. Parking is free at the trailhead.
