Turn left on Park Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Eighth Street. Turn right onto Eighth Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Division Street. Turn left on Division Street and walk north. The Protected Native American Trail Marker Tree is located in a forested area at approximately 1.5 miles from this intersection. Look for a small path leading into the trees on your right.

Starting from the Traverse City State Park, head north on M-22 (also known as N. West Bay Shore Drive). Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Eighth Street. Turn left onto Eighth Street and bike until you reach the intersection with Division Street. Turn left onto Division Street and head north. The Protected Native American Trail Marker Tree is located about 1.5 miles ahead in a wooded area. Look for a small path leading into the trees on your right.
