    The Truman Library is located at 500 W US Hwy 24, Independence, MO 64050. From I-435, exit onto US-24 East and follow for approximately 3 miles. The library will be on the north side of the highway. Free parking is available in the lots surrounding the building.

    Bus service is available from Kansas City International Airport to Independence Square, about 1 mile from the library. From there, you can take a taxi or ride-sharing service for the final mile. A taxi from the airport to the library costs approximately $55. Local bus fares typically cost around $2.

    From Independence Square, head east on US-24 (also known as Lexington Ave). Walk approximately 1 mile; the library will be on your left. This walk takes about 20 minutes.
