Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown St. Louis, walk to the Civic Center MetroLink station. Take the MetroLink towards the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 station. Get off at the last stop, Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44. Once you exit the station, walk to the bus stop outside the station and take Bus 492 (Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 to Grant's Farm). Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the Grant's Farm stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site located at 7400 Grant Rd.

    If you are near the Forest Park area, take the MetroBus Route 58 (Rock Road) from the Forest Park MetroLink station towards the Rock Road station. Get off at the intersection of Gravois Rd and Grant Rd. Walk south along Grant Rd for about 10 minutes to reach Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site at 7400 Grant Rd.

    If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can start from downtown St. Louis and head south towards the riverfront.
