    Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Kansas City. From Kansas City, take I-35 north to Route 92 east. Follow Route 92 east for 7 miles, then turn north onto Route RA for 1 mile to reach the park entrance. Parking is available near the Visitor Center. Parking is free.

    While there is no direct public transportation to the park, you can take the line 210 bus from Kansas City to the intersection of Pleasant St and 210 Hwy, and then take a taxi to Lawson. From there it is approximately a 10 minute taxi ride to the park. Bus fare is approximately $3, and the taxi fare will be approximately $90-$120.
