If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Orheiul Vechi Natural Cultural Reserve. Drive northeast on the main road (DJ 201) towards the village of Trebujeni. After approximately 7 kilometers, follow the signs to Old Orhei. As you approach Old Orhei, you will see a sign directing you to Old Orhei Fort. There is parking available at the site, but please note that there may be a small parking fee, typically around 10-20 MDL.

Public Transportation
To reach Old Orhei Fort using public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from Chișinău to Orhei. These minibuses leave regularly from the central bus station in Chișinău. The ride takes about 1 hour and costs around 25-30 MDL. Once you arrive in Orhei, you will need to take another minibus to the village of Trebujeni, which costs about 15 MDL. From Trebujeni, it is a short 10-15 minute walk to Old Orhei Fort. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

If you are already within Orheiul Vechi Natural Cultural Reserve, you can walk to Old Orhei Fort from the main visitor center. Follow the marked hiking trails that lead you through the picturesque landscape. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
